Sidrena cijena

A WooCommerce plugin that shows the Croatian base price next to the current price

The plugin stores the regular price on the legal reference date and displays it on the product - for Croatian shops that must show the sidrena (base) price.

Situation

Croatian retailers, including distance selling, must show a sidrena (base) price next to the current price: the regular retail price from a fixed reference date. From 1 Oct 2026 the duty widens from FMCG categories to all products and services.

Bottleneck

WooCommerce knows sale price, but not this legal anchor. If a merchant only lowers regular_price, the proof of what applied on 10 Sep 2026 or 2 May 2025 disappears. Hand-entering it across a large catalog does not scale, and FMCG vs other assortment use different reference dates.

What we built

A GPL WooCommerce plugin: snapshot of regular_price on activation without overwriting saved values, a field under sale price on simple products and every variation, a WooCommerce settings screen for display and prefix, a tooltip, optional per-product date, unit-price suffix, CSV/XML price-list and audit export, plus compatibility with popular themes and page builders.

Outcome

A merchant installs the plugin, gets the sidrena price next to the product price, and can export a price list. This is not legal advice - the plugin is a display tool, not an interpretation of the rules.
