MAT Design platform
Custom portfolio, case studies, and print shop - without WooCommerce
For the MAT design studio we built a bilingual React + Node platform: editorial case studies, an art-print shop, Stripe and bank-transfer checkout, and admin for products, orders, and gallery - without a generic CMS.
Situation
Design studio MAT needed a site that carries the brand, tells project stories (Logofolio, Amazinga, Gea Yoga…), and sells prints in HR and EN - with an editorial rhythm a WooCommerce theme could not hold.
Bottleneck
WooCommerce plus a stock theme slowed case-study layout, SEO control, and a coherent HR/EN experience across shop, coupons, freebie leads, and admin. The studio needed one monorepo that owned content, payments, and deploy.
What we built
Vite/React storefront with i18n (HR default, /en), Express API and MariaDB (JSON fallback locally), Stripe Checkout and HUB-3 bank barcode, MailerLite newsletter and welcome coupon, Woo-style coupon engine, freebie download gate, customer accounts, SEO prerender/sitemap/llms.txt, plus a custom admin for products, freebies, orders, gallery, and settings.
Outcome
A live platform on matdesign.hr: brand-led homepage, work index, and print shop. The case-study template (hero, numbered delivery blocks, gallery) stays simple and editorial.

For pet shop Šape we built a WordPress/WooCommerce loyalty plugin: a PWA at /sape-klub/, a Šape points ledger, barcode coupon generation, sync with e-računi and Klaviyo, and web push notifications.
