La Paloma Novalja

An owned delivery app that increased revenue by 65% in its first week

A mobile ordering platform for La Paloma in Novalja - a direct, multilingual path from menu to delivery. The restaurant reported a 65% revenue increase in the first week after launch.

Situation

La Paloma, a pizzeria and restaurant on Novalja's main square, serves local guests and an international audience throughout the tourist season. It needed an owned online delivery channel in Croatian, English, German, and Italian without relying on a generic third-party widget.

Bottleneck

Orders arrived by phone and through scattered channels - menu, customer details, and the operational view were never in one place. Addresses came in without delivery-zone checks, menu changes were slow, and the restaurant lacked one clear view of orders and revenue.

What we built

We designed and developed a mobile-first web app with a photo-led menu, cart, and map-based checkout. The system validates the delivery zone and opening hours, supports cash or card on delivery, and sends email confirmations. The admin brings orders, statuses, menu management, translations, delivery zones, and analytics into one place.

Outcome

In the first week after launch, La Paloma reported a 65% revenue increase. Guests now order directly in a few steps, while the team receives structured orders, controls the menu, and sees sales clearly without depending on an external ordering widget.

Detail

Checkout uses a map and delivery polygon: guests can search for an address or use their location, and the system checks the zone before submission. The same local context extends across four languages, localized SEO routes, and customer status messages.
