Privacy policy

This policy explains how we process personal data on mjdd.hr and in the project assessment chat, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Croatian GDPR Implementation Act.

1. Data controller

MJDD is the public brand under which the business operates on mjdd.hr.

2. What data we collect

Contact data you enter yourself (email, company name, optional phone),
conversation content and project details you provide in the chat,
a short audio clip if you start voice dictation yourself (only to convert speech to text),
basic technical data needed to run the service and prevent abuse (e.g. interface language, session data).

We use no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We do not sell personal data and we do not collect it from other sources.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Project assessment and call preparation - steps prior to a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
communication about your enquiry - Art. 6(1)(b) or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)),
security and abuse prevention - legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)),
non-essential browser preferences - consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time,
legal obligations - Art. 6(1)(c).

Providing contact data is voluntary. Without it you can browse the site and hold a conversation, but we cannot deliver a personalised assessment or prepare a call.

4. AI processing

The conversation is driven by an automated system following MJDD's assessment scenario. To generate replies, conversation content may be passed to a trusted external processor. The assessment is informational and is not automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects under Art. 22 GDPR. Decisions about any engagement are made by people.

If you use optional voice dictation, a short audio clip is sent to the same AI processor to turn speech into text. We do not store the file. The transcript is shown in the message field so you can edit it before sending.

5. Recipients

We share data only with processors necessary to run the service (hosting, email delivery, AI processing), under contractual obligations pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, the transfer relies on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. We may disclose data to competent authorities where required by law.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, typically at most 24 months from last activity or contact, unless law or a contractual relationship requires longer. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent. Send requests to jure@mjdd.hr. We respond within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr, or with the supervisory authority of the EU member state where you live or work.

8. Cookies

We use no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. The browser may store locally only what is needed for the site to work (e.g. language, theme, conversation continuity, your privacy-notice choice). You can clear this in your browser settings.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. Access is limited to people who need it.

10. Children

The service is aimed at business users and is not directed at persons under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page with the date of the last update.
